First to find.
The cache is still there and there is a deer skeleton nearby but it is as good as it is going to get ... No smell! When I checked it on 01/25/12 the road was very muddy. Proceed with caution.
I wondered if they would attempt this one. Well done!
This cache Is almost a park and grab. The trick will be getting there.
I saw a few deer and a turkey walked across the road when I was out riding around. I decided then this area needed a cache.
It is along side a very little used road. The road can be a challenge to drive at times, especially after a big rain. For those really adventurous types, wait till it rains. The difficulty in getting there after some heavy rains would raise to a 3.5 or maybe even a 4 depending on your mode of transportation. On the day I placed it I’d rate it a 3. Parts of the road tend to become very muddy and slippery in places after it rains. If you drive carefully you may be able to find it in your Geomobile if you have enough road clearance or you can always walk to it.
There is no need to go inside any gated area or to cross the fence.
The cache is a flare tube that has a few neat things inside. Please rehook as you found it. There really is only one correct way to rehide it. Parking is fairly close by.
Be sure to check out the other nearby caches and make a day of it in the Pike county area.
