Wagga Wagga Transit Lounge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

brodot: Thanks to all cachers that have taken the time to find and re-home all TBs in this cache. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to take care of this cache due to my physical location (Canberra), and the limited time I have with a 10-month old baby girl!

It's been a fun chapter in my life, and I wish you all the best luck when hunting for caches, whether they be large ammo containers in the bush, or a micro-magnetic chewing gum tin - Brodot

Geocache Description:

***UPDATED UPDATE***
A huge thank you to Rapidlywild for replacing the cache, logbook & pens of this cache. It's such a pleasure to be a part of this community when cachers lend a hand to one another! Please, bring some Travel Bugs, this cache is designed to keep them moving around the world!

A cache designed to hold Travel Bugs and other collectibles whose sole purpose is to travel to other locations!

It's been a while, but here is my long-overdue 3rd cache! While I was on my motorbike tour down in Tasmania over the new year holidays, I came across a cache called Antarctica TB Transit Lounge (visit link) This cache held two loads of TBs: one to travel to caches in Antarctica; the other to travel to all other locations. I couldn't believe what a brilliant, simple idea this was: to plant a cache specifically designed to make you find more caches! And seeing as how Wagga has it's own airport and over 100 caches, I thought it would be more than appropriate to set up a Transit Lounge.

The Lounge already has 3 customers eagerly awaiting to be taken elsewhere: Jingle Bell, Bongo the monkey, and Handless Homer. Help them find a new place to live: they're a bit tired of being stuck in Wagga with a motorbike-crash recoveree!

The cache itself is a cylindrical sistema container and is camo'ed into the surrounding area. It should be VERY easy to find, but the idea is to rescue the TBs, not to spend 30min looking for another micro magnetic cache. Although, I do relish the moment when I do find those ones - happy travels! Note - cache is log only, so be sure to bring a pen unless you can scrawl with a stick!
