Oaklands is a town in the Riverina district of southern New South Wales, Australia. The town is located 615 kilometres south west of the state capital, Sydney and 105 kilometres north west of Albury. Oaklands is in the Urana Shire Local government area and at the 2006 census, had a population of 239. The major industry in the Oaklands region is agriculture, including the production of wheat and rice and is a major grain handling area. It is the home of the Oaklands Diuris, a threatened native orchid that is currently only found in the Oaklands region. We found this lovely park in the main street of Oaklands, it has BBQs and a nice clean play area for the young at heart. You might want to bring lunch, look low, and break your trip,......fence line, or you might not,.under tin, either way we hope you enjoy this top park in a lovely quite little town
