L'endroit de la cache a été sous un gouvernement Espangnol, Autrichien, Français, Belge, Hollandais. Pendant la Grande Guerre ce chemin de fer était vitale pour les armées Britanniques.
Bref, ici, on est en Europe.
Mais êtes-vous un vrai géocacheur Européen ?.

Cette cache est une Challenge Cache. Vous pouvez loguer le European Cacher Challenge cache à partir du moment ou vous avez réuni les différentes conditions :
- bien sûr vous rendre sur place, trouver la cache aux coordonnées et loguer la cache physiquement
- avoir trouvé une cache dans au moins 6 pays différents de l'Union Européenne (l'Europe des 28).
- en donner la preuve.

Si votre profile sur www.geocaching.com contient la statistique des pays ou vous avez trouvé des caches, je peux le vérifier facilement.
Sinon, vous veuillez donner dans votre log la liste d'au moins 6 pays Européens, avec pour chaque pays le link à l'adresse URL de votre log d'une cache que vous avez trouvé dans ce pays (voire log exemple).

Bien sur cette cache ne peut pas être employée comme une des 6 caches nécessaires pour loguer.
Tout log ne respectant pas ces conditions sera effacé.

Faites attention, il faut un petit travail de druide pour arriver à la cache. Les Celtes, n'étaitent-ils pas les premiers Européens ?

Dans le passée, il y avait la possibilité de donner la liste des 6 caches sous forme de GC-code ou sous forme de public bookmark list. Avec ces méthodes, il est devenu très difficile de vérifier vos logs depuis le moment (septembre 2011) que Groundspeak à supprimé la fonctionnalité de voir tous les logs d'une cache d'un seul coup.
Si vous ne savez pas toute suite comment il faut introduire le link vers le found d'une cache dans votre logs, envoyez-moi un email et je vois explique.

De omgeving van de caches werd ooit bestuurd door Spanjaarden, Fransen, Belgen, Nederlanders. Een tijdens de Grote Oorlog was deze spoorweg van vitaal belang voor het Britse Leger.
Kortom : hier zijn we in Europa.
Maar ben jij wel een echte Europese Geocacher ?

Om de European Cacher Challenge te mogen loggen moet je aan deze voorwaarden voldoen:
- op deze coordinaten de cache vinden en fysiek loggen zoals bij elke andere cache
- in minstens 6 verschillende landen van de Europese Unie (de EU-28) een cache gevonden hebben.
- dit ook aantonen

Als jouw profiel op www.geocaching.com de statistiek toont van de landen waar je caches vond, hoeft er verder niets te gebeuren.
Zoniet, kan moet je in je log de lijst opnemen van minstens 6 Europese landen met telkens de de link naar het web-adres van jouw log van een cache die je vond in dat land. (Zie voorbeeldlog).

Deze cache komt natuurlijk niet in aanmerking als één van de 6 caches om te mogen loggen.
Logs die niet voldoen aan deze voorwaarden, worden gewist.

Opgelet : om de cache te vinden moet je een druide-werkje uitvoeren. Waren de Kelten niet de eerste echte Europeanen ?

Vroeger kon men het lijstje van de 2 x 4 caches ook leveren als GC-codes of als een public bookmark list. Sinds Groundspeak (in september 2011) definitief de mogelijkheid heeft afgeschakeld om alle logs van een cache in één keer te bekijken, is het zeer moeilijk geworden om logs van een cache te controleren.
Als u niet direct weet hoe een link naar uw log van een cache moet ingelast worden, stuur me een emailtje, dan leg ik het uit.

The place around the cache was once under Spanish, French, Belgian and Dutch government. During the Great War, the railroad on this place was vital for the British army. It's clear : here, we are in Europe.
But, are you a real European Geocacher ?

This is a Challenge cache. To log the European Cacher Challenge you have to meet all the following conditions :
- find the cache at these coordinates and log it physically in the usual way
- have found a cache in at least 6 different countries member of the European Union (the EU-28)
- proof this in some way.

If your profile on www.geocaching.com shows the statistics of the countries where you have found caches, there is nothing more to do.
If not, you should list at least 6 European countries in your log, with for each country the link to the web-address of your logs of a caches you have found in that country (see example log).

Of course this cache can't be used as one of the six caches that need to be found to log this one.
Logs that don't fulfill these conditions, will be removed.

One important remark: you have to perform a little druidic job before reaching the cache. Weren't the Celts the first real Europeans ?

In the past, it was offered to give the list of the 6 caches as list of GC-codes or as a public bookmark list. Since Groundspeak definitively has switched off the possibility to view all logs of a cache at once (September 2011), it has become very difficult to verify logs using these methods.
