RIBEIRA FUNDA
Esta cache irá te levar a uma das zonas mais escondidas da ilha da Madeira: A Ribeira Funda. A Ribeira Funda situa-se entre o Seixal e o Porto Moniz e só recentemente é que é possível chegar de carro. Antes as poucas famílias que aqui vivem tinham de subir vários degraus para conseguir chegar a casa. Existem uma ligações pedonais entre esta localidade e o Fanal e o Porto Moniz.
This cache will take you to one of the most hidden areas of the island of Madeira: Ribeira Funda. Ribeira Funda lies between Seixal and Porto Moniz and only recently is it possible to drive. Before the few families who live here had to get up several steps to get home. There is a pedestrian link between this location and Fanal and Porto Moniz.
Para poderes encontrar a cache terás de encontrar a zona indicada para sair da via expresso (utiliza o waypoint), depois continuas pela antiga estrada regional 101 até encontrares o túnel que te levará até à Ribeira Funda. Se tiveres oportunidade para o carro em cima da ponte para poderes contemplar a ribeira que passa por baixo. Estaciona o teu carro no final da estrada, escolhe o trilho correcto e aproveita para desfrutar de uma vista sobre a costa norte e sobre toda esta pequena localidade.
In order for you to find the cache you will have to find the right area to exit the expressway (use the waypoint), then continue by the former regional road 101 until you find the tunnel that takes you to Ribeira Funda. If you have the opportunity to stop over the bridge, you will be able to contemplate the waterstream passing underneath. Park your car in the end of the road, pick the correct trail and in the end enjoy a view over the North Coast and all over this small village.
