A cache to commemorate our two day brewery tour to celebrate ChefPapa's retirement.
This cache was placed after a weekend pub crawl to local breweries as part of a celebration of my retirement after 42 years in the elevator business. We visited 13 breweries over 2 days from Chicago to Grand Rapids with a group of family and friends. In Grand Rapids we visited Founders, B.O.B, Top Hat, Scmohz, Grand Rapids Brewing Company, The Hide Out, and Brewery Vivant. On Sunday we rested and placed this cache commemorating our adventure while walking in the woods of this small county park. The cache contains various souvenirs from the breweries we visited as well as a newly minted travel bug of the same name as this cache. Take a rest at this cache and enjoy a cold one for me.
To access the trailhead enter the subdivision off of 76th St. SE just west of Cherry Valley Ave. on Black Cherry Way South. The road will eventually dead end to a small parking area with a
"leash your dog" sign. The trailhead is off to the right but is not marked.
