Geocache Description:

This is the first of a series of caches designed to take a light hearted look at some of the difficulties we have encountered when caching, for which these are our revenge!!

You will need a pen or pencil and probably tweezers- these caches are small.

There is a clue in each cache which leads to a final near Brindle. Don't forget to write it down.

Log pile : this one is placed for all those people who like to hide things in piles of logs. We have spent hours looking through log piles, often without success. You will have to use your caching eye to spot this one.We have included a suggested kit list which we often feel we should have brought with us on caching adventures, you might like to take with you when searching for this series.
Kit List:
1. Tweezers for extracting log books.
2. Walking stick for fending off wild animals and poking in dark holes.
3. Crampons for climbing mud slides.
4. Climbing rope for rescuing team members from cliff faces.
5. Grappling hooks for scaling walls.
6. Goggles for avoiding spiky bushes poking you in the eye.
7. Self inflating boat and oars for when you are stranded at the wrong side of the canal.
8. Tin helmet in case of low flying golf balls.
9. Flares for when you are hopelessly lost.
10. Map to stop you getting lost.
11. Gloves for extracting caches from prickly places.
12. Note book and pen.
13. Insect repellent.
