JMC Remembered #1 Traditional Cache
Workyticket: As there's been no cache to find for months, we are archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Many thanks,

JMC Remembered #1.
This is one of a series of caches created to celebrate the short but eventful life of Jason McRoy, the UK’s first professional downhill mountain bike racer. Each cache represents a significant event or place in the life story.
For more information visit the website at http:www.jasonmcroy.com.
A pub at Beamish was a meeting place for all of the local mountain bike crowd and its proximity to the C2C cycle route (and its great food) made it the perfect chill zone.
Jason used to meet fellow riders here on a regular basis, for a meal or just a chat and drink, either riding up from Washington on the C2C or driving when the weather was on the inclement side.
The cache is in the woodland area, a short walk from a pub, and I believe a fairly easy find.
The cache has in it the usual goodies plus a £1.00 coin for the FTF.
If you happen to make it into the pub, raise a glass to the memory of JMC – and watch out for other caches in this series.
