Cissbury Ring View Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

redirected male: This series seems to have borne the worst of what winter tends to throw at caches. Sadly I currently do not have the resources to maintain my caches, to the level I would like, and is expected. The caches will remain in place for a week or so before I gather them up, and I hope to put them to good use again as soon as I can! [:)]

Geocache Description:

Cissbury

The cache is placed along Honeysuckle Lane. From this point there is a great view of Cissbury Ring, 1.5 miles away. It is the largest Hillfort in Sussex, and the second largest in the UK. Flint played a major part in our heritage, and flint mining was "big business". Flint was the common material for making stone axes for felling timber and working wood during the neolithic period. It is still very easy to see from here, the effect the mining had on the hill, and the fortifications that were added later.

You are looking for a camouglaged. 60ml screw top specimin pot.
