in our disclaimer.
This is our 3rd Cache. Although our cache's are not directly linked
to each other we are intending to set them so you will be able to
visit them all in a roughly circular route.
We've decided not to put a hint for this as we don't think it needs
it, just put your Geocaching thinking hat on and you should get it.
Please bring your own pencil.
This is a reasonably accessible footpath. If you have a buggy you
should get down it especially if you have a 3-wheeled style buggy,
but I wouldn't try a double buggy. Also wheelchairs may also find
it difficult.
The footpath does have natural vegetation either side which can
include brambles and nettles so please take care, especially where
bare legs involved.
We have named this cache The Oilies.
This is because that is the name that this footpath is know by
locally by members of the older generation.
We have tried to find out the exact reason for this, but so far we
can only presume that it is due the fishermen of yesteryear used to
hang their weatherproof clothing (Oilies) out to air and dry. With
one end of the path leading towards Pakefield beach this was
probably a common route for the fisher-folk.
