Beautiful, beautiful place with tons of history; Since I started caching, I have always wondered why there wasn't a cache here. If we forget our past, we are destined to repeat it. Enjoy this great place!!
This is short, easy multi for the sole purpose of showing you this wonderful place. I have permission for this cache but remember that even when permission is granted by one, all might not know; I know that cachers are kind and careful folks but I ask that you be especially so at this place. I have placed the cache just a few feet off the gravel path so that hopefully, no geopath will present itself. If you arrive and see lawn care folks, please wait until they leave to hunt the cache as they might consider it trash/treasure and remove it.
You have permission to take the driveway near the first stage all the way back to the cemetery. There you will see many folks that contributed to our state in a positive way. Richard Russell, Jr. has never gotten the recognition that he deserves but remember that he is solely responsible for our children/grandchildren having school lunches today. It was his program.
Enjoy this place. You will agree with me that it is probably one of the most beautiful and peaceful places that you have seen. Remember to be respectful and leave no footprint.
At stage one, you will find a plaque. There you will need to figure the coords for stage two: Stage two/final coords are as follows:

To get the North coords, simply find the number of children mentioned on the plaque and subtract that number from 508.
To get the West coords, you only need to subtract 1625 from the year of Richard Russell, Jr.'s death.
As previously mentioned, you are authorized to drive up the driveway into the rear of the house and up the hill.
Because the tree cover is so thick, I have provided a hint that is surely a big spoiler. Don't read it if you want to find this cache the REAL way.
