Geocache Description:


There are 449 total fire lookouts known in the state of PA out of which 380 are no longer standing. This cache will take you to one of the few that are still standing. It is located on state game lands 158. The closest parking is at N 40 42.045 W078 22.197. To get to the parking you will have to drive about 2.5 miles on state game land road, for the most part it is in pretty good condition just a little bumpy, we made it without a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Once you get to the parking it is only about half a mile round trip. There are two paths at the parking area the quickest way to the cache is to take the path with the broken gate. The walking path to the cache is very flat and easy to walk, the terrain is a 3 because of the road on the drive in.
