in our disclaimer.
The good news is that the cache itself is located at the listed coordinates. The bad news is that you must complete the following challenge before you can log the cache as found.
Your mission, if you choose to accept, is to find at least one cache in each of 6 different US states (Washington DC is also acceptable) and/or Canadian provinces within 2 consecutive days.
The fine print:
1. All cache types are acceptable, BUT your list must include at least 4 different cache types (traditional, multi, virtual, letterbox, event, etc).
2. You do not have to find this cache within the 2 days of the challenge. You may find the cache and sign the log prior to completing the challenge.
3. Your 6 qualifying finds must be listed in your found log in the format: State/Province, GC#, Cache Name, Cache Type, Found Date (See example below).
4. Any found logs that don’t meet the challenge requirements will be deleted. If you find the cache prior to completing the challenge, please log your visit as a note.
5. The difficulty rating for this cache is for the challenge involved, not the cache itself. The terrain rating is based on the cache location. The area of the hide consists of many well established trails that are regularly used by ATV’s and snowmobiles. Please be alert at all times of year. The area can get very muddy, so boots are recommended. You are looking for a lock and lock type container.
Before creating this challenge cache, I wanted to prove that it could be done. I completed the challenge during a road trip with The-Driver (previously known as julia854). We decided to take a road trip to do some caching and it eventually turned into this challenge. We had a great time along the way, did some really great caches, saw some new places and have lots of memories! Hopefully your road trip will be as enjoyable as ours was. (Julie did not come with me to hide the cache, nor was she told where I was hiding it, so that she can qualify for the challenge)
My list of caches is:
NY – GCFEF4 – If it ain’t broke… - multi – 4/8/11
PA – GCZR1P – The Most Radioactive Town in America – earth – 4/8/11
OH – GC1F6R3 – Squires Castle – earth – 4/8/11
WV – GC12MQR – Johnny Cash Cache – traditional – 4/9/11
