This Cache is the 3rd of 7 and can be combined with the caches below to make a circular route around this part of the Golden Cap Estate. See: Golden Cap 1: Welcome to Golden Cap (GC2RVDY) for full details about parking and the route.
This area is locally known as Copse Mead. With two ponds, it has a brilliant species count, with dragon flies and frogs often seen during the spring and summer months. Roe deer have also been known to wander through this area, Together with the nesting woodpecker, this is a great place to stop and enjoy the wildlife.
This Geocache combines with the caches below to make a circular route around part of the estate. The complete route is a walk of a little over 2.5 miles (4.5km), which takes you down to St Gabriels before a steady climb brings you round the back of Golden Cap to return via the wood.
The cache is a small bison type container. It contains only the log book, please bring a pen. There is a lot of tree cover so GPS coverage maybe unreliable.
The other caches in this series are:
Golden Cap 1: Welcome to Golden Cap (GC2RVDY)
Golden Cap 2: Forever, for Everyone (GC2RVFX)
Golden Cap 4: There’s somethin fishy goin on… (GC2T0HC)

and finally:-

Enjoy walking on the Estate and Happy Caching.
