MAENCLOCHOG MKII - Castle Rocks

Our second attempt at a cache in the centre of our village.
It is fabled that in times gone by - when horse drawn carts were driven over the cobbled bridge, that it sounded like bells ringing out... the other tale is that there is a large rock in the village, that when struck would ring like a bell...
The cobbles are long gone, and we have yet to find the rock that sounds like a bell ringing when struck!
Another and more logical explanation is that 'clochog' comes from Gaelic, and means 'stony ground' - this is much more likely!
Make this your starting point to explore this sleepy little hamlet in West Wales.
PLEASE NOTE THE TERRAIN RATING OF THIS CACHE!
I have set it thus as a WARNING!
The cache is located on the Rocks in Maenclochog Car Park, and great care should be taken whilst climbing these rocks, and especially when retrieving the cache!
We used to spend a lot of our time as kids honing our climbing skills here. Judging by the state of the brambles not much climbing goes on here these days! Mind you, as kids these rocks looked a lot bigger than they really are!
There is no need to climb to get the cache, but it is near the edge, and you will need to take great care whilst getting the cache from its hiding hole and when putting it back.
The cache is currently a small clip lock box. When I am next here I will replace it with and ammo can and put more swag in it.
PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL AND KEEP KIDS UNDER STRICT SUPERVISION!
There are a few other caches nearby, some more difficult than others. Enjoy!
