Bydelen Ila ligger vest for Trondheim sentrum. Ila ble bebygd i første halvdel av 1700-tallet. Mot slutten av 1800-tallet ble området utbygd med bygårder for arbeidsfolk fra industrien. Ila skole åpnet i 1877. Ilen kirke er bygget i stein med tretak og ble innviet 7. juni 1889.
I dag er Ila et tett befolket boligområde med noe handel og industri. Som følge av byggingen av Nordre avlastningsvei har det skjedd store endringer i bydelen. Blant annet har Ilabekken blitt lagt fri etter mange år i rør. Bekken renner gjennom en ny park, som har blitt et flott tilskudd til bydelens grøntområder i tillegg til Ilaparken som har eksistert siden 1891.
Ila is a neighbourhood located west of Trondheim city center. Ila was developed in the first half of the 18th century. Towards the end of the 19th century the area was developed with apartment buildings for industrial workers. Ila school opened in 1877. Ilen church was inaugurated on June 7 1889. The Ilaparken park has existed since 1891.
Today Ila a densely populated residential area with some commerce and industry. As a result of the construction of the road Nordre avlastningsvei major changes have been made in the area. Among other things, The Ilabekken stream has been released after running in a pipeline for many years. The stream flows through a new park, which has been a great addition to Ila's green areas.

This is a picture cache that will lead you on an enjoyable walk through Ila, a scenic part of Trondheim. This is a great cache to do if you are from out of town and want to see an interesting part of Trondheim.
The task is to visit all of the six given coordinates A-F and identify the picture taken at each coordinate. When all six coordinates are matched correctly with the pictures, replace the letter of the coordinate with the picture number and you will have the final coordinates.
There is only one picture for each coordinate. The motifs in the pictures are located only a few meters from each coordinate.
At the final stage you will find a micro cache containing a log.
