Anyone for Golf? Traditional Cache

I rented a scooter to do my caching along the strip. Very reasonable. But your cheapest and best bet for travel between caches is the beach bus where you can hop on, hop off anywhere along the hotel strip for $5 CUC for the whole day. Great for pics and touring the area. You are looking for a black pill container. Bring a pen. Please be gentle with the container and logbook. Maintenance, as you might imagine, can be a hassle here. If the log is full, please put a piece of paper in it. If you don't have an international sim card or travel package in your smartphone most cell phone providers give you a travel package automatically. Just look for "Cubacell" and connect to it. The rates are fairly expensive but will allow you to use data if you need to so you can zero in on a cache. "cgeo" or your geocaching app. will work here with data on. Best thing is to save or store all the hides you want to find for "off line use" with stored data. Works great with your gps and location turned on and data turned off. Happy caching and for all geocachers visiting Cuba, please bring some spare log sheets, containers and waterproof baggies for the log sheets and if you find a cache in need of repair or missing, please fix it and send pics and coords if you had to move it, to the owner. He will be forever in your debt.

Bus stop schedule and stops

Veradero Golf Club shows stop #31 coming from the West end of the peninsula. If you are coming from the East and from Downtown Veradero, get off at "Plaza America" and get the cache hidden close by, then walk back 750 meters East to the Golf Club.
