The saying goes that the rock is actually rocking, not much but ever so slightly. The rocking is said to be too small to feel with your hands but it is still said to be quite noticeable. Put your head against a tree to keep it steady then look closely at the rock and compare with the background. After a while you will notice a very small but steady rocking. Can you see it...?
