Geocache Description:


The cache is set back from the main footpath. You can approach from above/round the back or from below. From below is probably easier and safer so that's what I'd recommend but there may be water underfoot at times after periods of rain.
The cache can't be seen and you'll have to feel around for it.
Reception will likely be bad as Ilex Aquifolium has fairly thick leaves.

It's possible to make a circular walk in these woods and take in the 2 caches south of the river by crossing close to N 55° 06.711 W 001° 35.442. Please note though that river depth varies according to conditions - I've been able to cross the river easily and safely all 3 times that I've visited but if in doubt then please don't risk it.
