This is the SLAGA Spring picnic
Waplehorst Park
St Charles MO
Date May 7, 2011
Time 9 for set up and 12 for lunch
We will be having hamburgers and hot dogs.
We need everyone to bring something to share.
Also Bring Drinks to share.
The cost is 3 dollars for adults
2 dollars for Children under 12
No charge for 3 and under.

Travel Bug Race
May 7, 2011 - December 15, 2011
Winners will win a Geocoin that will be of your choice from 5 different coins that will be displayed at the picnic.
You must register at the SLAGA spring picnic.
All Travel bugs must be new!
All Travel bugs or geocoin's need to have a tag attached with the rules of the race. This will be provided at the picnic. You may purchase a TB tag at the picnic for 5 dollars or provide one yourself. If you buy a tag at the picnic you need to provide an item to attach to the tag.
(Please leave a note if you need a tag so we have enough.)
There will also be a prize awarded for the best story for your Travel Bug so get creative. This will be judged by votes from anyone at the picnic.
The prize for this will be a Geocoin.
The owner may take the travel bug with them for two weeks to visit as many caches as possible before released.
On or before the 21st of May.
Anyone in the race is not allowed to move any other Travel bug in the race. If this happens the geocacher will be disqualified.

Bonus points miles
2000 if the owner of the Travel Bug attends a CITO event during the race.
1000 if the Travel bug goes to a mega event
500 for any other event
400 for placing in a cache that is a First to Find
250 for placing in a cache other than a traditional cache
100 for placing in a Travel bug hotel.
To win the race the Travel Bug with the most points will win.
There will also be a winner with the most caches dropped in and changed hands. This could be the same Travel Bug winning twice.
