This is another cache for the series of caches along the Bass Coast Rail Trail . It is the only coastal rail trail in Victoria and is very well used by walkers and bike riders. The rail trail extends 16 kms from Anderson to Wonthaggi. This trail is well know for the trestle bridge that is at Kilcunda. Hope you enjoy the series.
This cache will bring you to a nice creek area along the trail and a sign that recognise the local landcare group for the area and it efforts in tree planting. Please watch out for muggles on the trail and at the moment Desal worker muggles.
There are several access points for parking along the rail trail.The Anderson round-about, Mitchell mine area kilcunda, Kilcunda near trestle bridge, Powlett River road, Station Street Dalyston and Daly street Dalyston, Lower Powlett road Wonthaggi and South Dudley road in Wonthaggi.
This is a micro but I have been able to place a small pencil in it if you forget a pen. Please be careful when extracting the cache.
