Geocache Description:

Terrain and difficulty rating on this cache are adjusted as i feel the road leading to the cache, in times of rain will be difficult.

Welcome to another Blacklegend cache hide...
This was a lucky find indeed. I was on my way completing the Spirit of Salts series and i had to make a pitstop for the kids... You know, the usual, toilet break, "Dad, i'm hungry, Dad, i'm thirsty" so i turned off down a dirt road to see if it would come out near Boggy Creek as indicated by the GPSr.

When i got to the end of the road, the road itself looks like it turns into a farmhouse, an old farmhouse, possibly abandoned, i don't know. The road itself is definitely public access. Anyway, just off the end of the road i spied what is in the image below, a timber log bridge crossing the Boggy Creek...! I thought it was pretty cool. My 4WD is not set up for this type of crossing, and i didn't feel confident attempting it, so i don't know where it goes, but it is worth walking down to and checking out.

GZ itself is about 30 m from the creek. I placed the cache here because there has been evidence of heavy flooding down at the creek, and i didn't want to loose this "Tupperware" container. Where the cache is, is pretty high above the creek and should be safe.

The container itself is an older brown Tupperware job.... Yes, my wife would kill me if she knew, hehehe. Should be waterproof and the colour should keep it reasonably camo'd. Below is an image of the bridge in case the water is too high when you visit the site and can't see it.

As always with my caches, and anywhere in Australia, beware of Snakes. If you have kids with you on this find, keep an eye on the with the nearby water. Have fun at this unusual spot.
