Geocache Description:

Note: Please securely fasten the lid of the geocache--it should click tightly shut on all four sides. Thanks!
:-)

Park in the Marine Road parking lot (see link provided for directions). The distance from the parking lot to the cache and back is 3 miles, round-trip. You'll travel on an old paved road and on a dirt/gravel road.

Although a dread pirate (Garrrrrr!) may well have left a few belongings in this cache (sorry, no rum and no doubloons), the real treasure here is the view of the harbor.

Please bring a trash bag and make this one a CITO (cache in, trash out), if you can. If you take just one piece of dreck, it'll make a huge difference.

One pointer:
You do not need to get close to the water to retrieve the cache. So, no need to scrabble through the stone wall at the left as you face the water and no need to scramble out on the old mooring. This pirate booty be on solid ground. Garr. That it be.

AND, a big ol' runner-up congrats to Caching_Campers for being the STF on the same day and finding the cache via a different route. Cool!
