y2kcompliant: Fewer and fewer friends are stopping by for a visit. Kat was watching the Olympics and saw a commercial about fun Kat Kafe's. So he decided to pack up all his belongings and head to Tokyo.

His parting remarks were "Thanks for all the visits and kind remarks, arigato gozaimasu!"

Geocache Description:

Kontented Kat Letter Box

Kontented Kat was looking for a place to take a nap. This spot was too open and the crows kept pestering him. He started heading south across a wide grassy area. Ahead in the grass was a large lonely rock. What is this rock doing here all by itself?

Kontented Kat walked to the rock to see if it would provide any protection. He decided that the crows would still bother him at that spot.

So he turned to the right and spotted a wide trail between two little wooded areas. He headed off down the trail. He noticed a tree fallen across the trail, but not reaching the ground. Not quite enough cover here, so he kept walking.

Now he has reached a large marsh. He heads to the left and starts walking around the marsh. The landscape starts to become uneven and there may be more protection this direction. The ground rises steeply to the left and the marsh is on the right.

Kontented Kat notices five evergreens standing close together at the end of the marsh. But then he hears the sound of dozens of children playing. Too noisy here and he moves towards a triad of Poplar with three trunks meeting at a single spot at ground level. Still too noisy and the mysterious green squares by the trees were making an annoying buzzing sound.

So Kontented Kat turned sharply to the right and headed up next to another row of evergreens. He soon passed under a pair of weeping willows and stopped to pat at the low hanging leaves.

After playing for a minute, he moved ahead in the same direction and noticed a brick wall on his left and a wooded area on his right. After walking a little further, he spotted an opening in the wooded area. Kontented Kat thought the area provided great protection and might be a great spot for a nap.

Walking all the way in the opening he noticed another large lonely rock. This rock looked like it provided great protection. Kontented Kat found a few little sticks for cover and nestled behind the rock for a well deserved nap.
