Geocache Description:

Curtisville Lake is part of the Upper Buffalo Creek watershed project, which has not only helped prevent downstream flooding but also provides recreational activities for area residents. There is a boat launch ramp, handicapped accessible pier, and currently campsites and a playground is being added. Trout are stocked here in season, and once a year there is a special trout stocking after which only youths are allowed to fish for a few hours, so muggles may be a problem at times. Also, Ground Zero may not be suitable for small children, but nearby there is a safe place for them to wait (as long as they aren't left unattended) . Curtisville Lake has one feature that the others in the UBCWP do not have - it has an island, which got me to thinking................
