Geocache Description:

Curtisville Lake is part of a flood control project known as the Upper Buffalo Creek Watershed Project, which has been effective at preventing downstream flooding and provides recreational opportunities for area residents. Trout are stocked in the appropriate season, and a special trout stocking for only the youth has become an annual tradition. A handicapped accessible pier and a boat launch ramp are there as well. Campsites are currently being built and a playground has been installed. The cache has been placed along an abandoned gravel road on the opposite side of the lake from the recent construction, easily accessed from the campground on the upper end of the lake or from the parking area on the other "fork" of the lake.
