Welcome to down town Ward.
This is the main drag, see the street name nearby.
Placed by a wee reserve, nearby is Fire Brigade, Local Hall, down the road, school, play centre, church,etc, and many homes.
The site of this Cache is the site of the Ward presbyterian church used to sit on. The church building was transported up the Wairau valley. The land is now used as part of the community grounds in this area. The church was no longer required after the Presbyterians joined with the Anglicans and the Anglican Building was choosen in Ward to hold the services at. It is just down the road past Ward School.(waimearev)
You do not need go through the gates to get the cache, cover well when you leave please.
