The hook executed by Michael Jackson on the 1984 Rockwell Hit often runs through my mind when I’m geocaching in town. It’s always hard to find a place in an urban environment where you don’t feel like somebody’s watching you. In fact, often if feels like everybody’s watching you. If you keep your eyes peeled, you’ll see cameras on buildings and poles that are keeping track of your every move. Several of my caching partners are just creeped out by all that attention. They feel so uncomfortable when searching for caches in urban environments that sometimes it takes the joy right out of it.

This cache is strategically placed to minimize people watching you. Located in an area where hundreds will be passing you by during your search, you will be protected because everyone will be watching something else. When you get to the area, simply look up and you will see why everyone will be distracted from paying attention to your activities.

Unlike other distractions of this type, this particular distraction is a little more high-tech and changes every 10 seconds to give you great cover while you search for the cache.

But, still use stealth during your search, because even with this great digital distraction, you never really know when somebody is watching you.
