This trail transitions from urban to rural landscapes featuring a thriving wetland with boneset, joe-pye weed, and skunk cabbage as well as apple, hickory, maple, sassafras, and swamp white oak trees. The crushed limestone Nickel Plate Trail connects with the paved asphalt trail that begins at Metzger Park and at Rt. 44 in Louisville. Nice day to hike while looking for an camoed 6x6 container. Bet you can't get this cache without being seen.
