This is the first in a series of caches designed for families to find. They are all near play areas, so once you've found the cache, the kids can go and play at the park.
Yateley Green is a flat area of open land, with some shallow wooded areas. This cache is hidden so that young children can help find it.
There is a car park located along the Reading Road, where the council offices, and the Tythings building are sited. This is next to the play park.
Yateley Green has two play areas, one for young kids, and another for older ones (including a rather cool zip wire). They also have a Bowls Club (which is always looking for new members), tennis courts, community centre, and pre-school. There is also the White Lion pub nearby to stop and have a drink and snack.
Be aware that the Green will be very busy on the 1st bank holiday monday in May, as the May Fayre is held then. It will be nigh on impossible to secretly find the cache during this festival - however, come along and enjoy the Fayre and save the cache for another day.
The cache is a 4" square plastic container with a few goodies inside for the kids to swap with their own treasures.
Placed with permission from Yateley Town Council
