Great place for wildlife viewing or bird watching. Be sure to bring your binoculars for fullest enjoyment of a Texas Wetlands nature at its finest.
Take Hwy 172 South of LaWard, location of wetland area is on your right. Drive around to the eduacation center, or park at the first sign if you like to hike your way in.
Cache is along a trail, a little less than a half mile from the Parking area.
Watch for snakes, alligators, other varmits.
