Moncreiffe hill is a
great way to explore the outdoors and learn a bit about the
wildlife and the plants about you. Keep your eyes and ears alert as
you go around. The trails are extensive, but you don't have to do
the whole hill at once, keep returning at different times of year
to see how different it looks, what plants are out, what wildlife
is about.
Although a steep
incline from the parking, it soon flattens off to reveal some
lovely suprises. This cache takes you along the red and white path.
The red path being the longest trail of just over 5 miles, the
white path being the most interesting to the youngsters as they
meet the locals along the way.
