I pass this church every day on my way to work and it always stands out like a beacon on the journey. Even on the darkest of nights it is lit up and stands proud above the marshes.
A church building has stood in Blythburgh for a thousand years witness to the love of God and the faith of His people. It is a magnificent building which can be seen rising out from the Blyth estuary and is sometimes affectionately called The Cathedral of the Marshes.
Holy Trinity Blythburgh has a small worshipping community who warmly welcome visitors to its services, for private reflection and prayer, to listen to inspiring music, or just to marvel at the wonderful angel roof.
