Geocache Description:

Good parking nearby - attempt driving the ATV trail if you want to but I did the short walk.

Along Highway 655. It adds to some recently hidden by a 'famous' Hearst Cacher.

Film can - log sheets - no pencil so bring your own. Winter friendly and co-ordinates within 4 m according to the GPSr.

The Sandy soil is from an esker that was formed because of the glaciation that covered the land. The eskers in this part of Northern Ontario are thought to be formed by streams or rivers at the bottom of the thick glacial ice that covered the earth. As the ice walls and ceiling melted away a long winding ridge of sand deposit was left. Some think of them as an upside down river of sand.

Congratulations to pijoansy for the FTF.
