Effectively dividing Romney Marsh in half, the Rhee Wall is the remains of a 12km length of medieval watercourse. Early theories to its origins suggested it was a Roman sea wall.
In fact it was constructed between the 12th and 13th century A.D. by the local population of the Romney Marsh to transfer river water from Appledore to the tidal inlet known as Rumensea which was the harbour of Old and New Romney
You can park at the given co-ordinates (known locally as Running Waters) and take a walk along the Rhee Wall to visit the church of Old Romney and pick up the micro there.
From the wall I could see 4 different marsh churches.
I have noticed that the walk is now rather overgrown since first placing the cache.
Please rehide this well as it has previously been muggled.
