Mineralization is lensing masses of barite crystals with minor fluorite within crystalline calcite, in a fault zone bordered by irregular layers of pale blue chlorite and calcite. Minor silver values in the calcite. Wall rock is Mesozoic granitic gneiss. Vein generally less than 2 feet (0.61 meters) thick but several thousand feet (1219.2 meters) long, striking S70E, and dipping 80SW.
Workings include an open cut and underground operations totalling 7.62 meters in length and 6.1 meters deep. Some 18 carloads of barite ore were shipped in 1929 and 1930
