Rocky Dam is in a forest called "Rocky Creek", a part of "Kuitpo". The cache is near a dam hence 'Rocky dam'.
The Cache is just off of a track, and is suitable for animals ( horses, dogs ext.), bush walking and children.
The Cache is a 1L Fruit container ( New container : I've moved interstate so haven't had a chance to see it, thank you to the kind person who replaced the old one!) . It containes small swapables, log book and pen. ( REMEMBER trade even or trade up!)
You can either walk a small distance ( eg. 800m) or a long one ( eg. couple of km) depending if you know the best place to park, or just take advantage of the beautiful kuitpo in all its glory . Good Luck!
This Forrest is one of my Family's favourite to visit! We are here all the time so if you see us dont be afraid to say hello! We will have our dogs with us, our little funny black dog with no tail, excitable white whippet and our Border collie sheep dog who loves to swim in the Dam just by the cache.
If you have a Dog you should bring him too! I'm sure he would love swimming and chasing sticks and the exciting setting of the forest!
