Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series set around Abbeystead. The whole series takes about 2 and a half hours. This cache is a small film canister. You will need to bring your own pencil.

Be aware of the farms either side of GZ. This part of the public footpath is boggy.

Abbeystead is a small, picturesque village located in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A lovely, peaceful spot, with 360 degree views of the nearby fells.
