This cache is located in Sandy Lake Park. Take the main trail to the park.
Sandy Lake Park was opened in 2004, as a joint effort by the Bedford Lion's Club and various levels of government. It's a great little park, with washrooms and a shallow, sandy-bottom supervised beach. The Bedford District Girl Guides have an annual event in this park, and this cache has been set in honour of my Brownie unit, the 1st Bedford Brownies. The cache is on a trail, easily accessible from the park or main trail. Winter-friendly.
