Geocache Description:

A micro located in Difficult Run Stream Valley Park; accessible from Lake Fairfax Park or the SkateQuest-Reston ice skating rink.

This micro cache is located in Difficult Run Stream Valley Park (though maybe it's technically within the boundaries of Lake Fairfax Park). We have always hiked around this area and didn't think much of it. Recently, the park has vastly improved their trails, in particular, their mountain biking trails.

Be respectful on the trails. Keep your eye and ear out for mountain bikers because they're moving pretty fast. The cache is located on high ground though, so you can assign a lookout.

Once you find the cache, be careful not to drop it into the hole! Oh ... and bring your own pencil.

This cache has been placed with permission from the Fairfax County Park Authority.

Congratulations to rufnredy and BAJA Clan for the shared FTF! Amazing job ... we just posted it today! Talk about eXtreme geocaching, you two.

IMPORTANT! No digging is required to find this cache. If you clear some leaves, kindly shuffle them back to prevent people from doing more digging or leave shuffling. And most importantly, put it back the way you found it!
