Old Westmoreland Cemetery - Parking is at the Post Office. Notice to all geocacher. It is perfectly fine to access this cache through the back corner of the adjoining property. We permission from the town board to place this cache. If anyone has any difficulty please contact us and let us know.
The cemetery has stones dated from 1802 to 1866. Alexander Parkman who was the first town clerk is buried here. Along with Jonathan Wales the founder of Walesville. This abandon cemetery was also Foxes girl scout gold award project way back when. It is now well kept by the Town of Westmoreland. Please respect the adjoining property stay to the right and enter by the flag pole. Also be respectful in this cemetery people are resting here.
