The cache is filled with swag marking Canada's national holiday.
This is not a themed cache however, so you can trade whatever you
want, but please try to trade even.
Please hide the cache well; the camo really does stand out!
Since there is construction on the weir on the north side of the
cache site, you will only be able to access the cache from the Bow
River pathway on 17 Avenue SE. The pathway up ahead is closed and
fenced off to accomodate truck and heavy equipment traffic. Very
limited parking is available just off 17 avenue at the entrance to
the pathway, however this is also a staging area for construction
crews, so be prepared in case parking is unavailable.
Please be advised that at times of high stream flow of the Bow
River, you might not be able to access the cache, so use
caution.
If you find that your approach is difficult, there is an easier
way to get to the cache. That is, I suggest you go to the bottom
rather than reaching for the cache from the pathway.
First to find gets kudos.
This cache has been placed for the CCARS11 event, held April 30
- May 1, 2011. This cache was released to the public on April
28,2011, but should not be located prior to noon, April 30, 2011.
The caches for the event are released early so that the caching
community has an opportunity to solve puzzles and plan their routes
prior to the event start.
Congrats to peanutbutterbreadandjam, jpeg, Hedgehog's Spoon, van
der decken, kijageo, and EtoshaMa for the FTF!
