For five centuries I possessed My Precious under these Misty Mountains.
But of late, a pretender has come and robbed me of what is Mine! Mine! Mine! I think he has hidden it near here, but every time I start looking for it a car comes along, or a nasty hobbit on a bicycle, and it frightens me. I run back up the hill into the woods.
Can you please help me find my Precious? It would be so VERY KIND of you to do so. If you find it, I can reward you very well. I can show you a SECRET!
Search well. I dropped it, and where it went, I know not. I think the pretender stashed it away someplace to keep me from finding it. My vision is not very good in the bright light of day. You seem better equipped for day vision and perhaps you may find it.
