Geocache Description:

This cache can only be accessed by the Shoshone Falls trail system. Have fun and be safe!

Wetlands is a cache near an area of water. This area was developed by the City of Twin Falls with the help of the Twin Falls Canal Company to reducing the sediment that goes into the Snake River. This project help save the tax payers almost $5,000,000 (the cost of a treatment facility). This area will also enhance the visitors experience by adding to the existing trail system and give them more options like a picnic area or maybe even fishing! Fun Fact: The metal bridges in the trail are from the old "Singing Bridge" over Rock Creek in downtown Twin Falls.
