Geocache Description:

Cache contains a log only. BYOP.

This is a beautiful spot on Piney Z Lake. There was once an archeological dig in this area and the cache is near the sign that gives some information about the dig and a cute little tiki hut covering a picnic table. These are awesome trails for hiking and biking. We have seen all kinds of wildlife in the area, including alligators.
There are a few different ways to get to the cache. If you are coming from Lake Heritage Park, facing the lake, head left and circle the lake on the trail. If coming from the trail that connects Tom Brown Park and Lake Heritage Park, turn left when you get to the lake instead of heading right toward Lake Heritage Park.
The quickest route to the cache is at the end of Tung Hill, which is off of Buck Lake Rd. There is a small opening between two posts at the end of Tung Hill. Head down the trail to the railroad tracks and then turn right and walk down the tracks a short distance. Cross the tracks and look for the trail on the left (look for the silver post with a silver box on the top). If you go in off of Tung Hill please park off the road and be respectful of the homeowners in the area. Enjoy the hunt!
