Hedgemead Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Moonjay: This cache was placed exactly 11 years ago in the beautiful Hedgemead Park. I've always enjoyed coming here and checking this cache.
After 400 cachers have been successful in finding it and as I am unfortunately no longer able to maintain it, I believe it's time to archive it.
Thank you very much to everybody who's visited this cache in Hedgemead Park. I've enjoyed reading every single log.

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a micro cache in the beautiful Hedgemead Park close to the city centre of Bath. The park is located on the side of a hill and the main path is at a steep gradient right through the park. There is unfortunately no space for travelbugs and you need to bring your own writing utensils.

Hedgemead Park is just below Camden Crescent. It is a lovely park for a wooded stroll from the city centre up the hill to the incomplete crescent. In 1889 a landslide demolished nine houses at the east end of Camden Crescent. This is where Hedgemead Park is now situated.

There might be poor GPS reception due to tree cover.

Parking? ... Well, the odd parking space might be available in Upper Hedgemead Road (North of GZ), but it might be easier to walk to the park and do some of the caches nearby.

Happy Caching.

Congratulations to TheOldfields for FTF!
