Geocache Description:

This is a multi-cache that will take you on a nice little tour of McCoy Park in Fort Atkinson. You will pick up the final cache coordinates during the simple trek. You will not leave the grounds of the park. CAUTION: This park does not have a play-ground for children. It is next to a very busy road and a small stream runs through it. If you are looking for a place to let the kids play, you might consider one of the other wonderful parks in Fort Atkinson.

The initial coordinates bring you to a World War One memorial, in memory of those who served. Take a moment to reflect on those who served this country, and have made it what it is today; then make note of the year that this monument was erected (19AA).
From 2012 11
Your next destination is to the west; just a few steps from the WWI monument. There is a replica of a couple cannons, and a nice "Fort" welcome structure. In addition, there is a marker that describes an event that took place on this spot years ago. In the description, they describe how many stars were on the U.S. flag at that time; make note of this number (BB).
From 2012 11
The third and final way-point, before the cache coordinates are revealed, is in the upper-east most corner of the park. It is a statue of a soldier! You should be able to see it from "The Fort"; if you can't see it simply follow the sidewalk up the hill. The statue is another WWI memorial to "The Dead Soldier". Make note of the WWI dates shown on the right top of the plaque: 19CC - 19DD.
From 2012 11
Now, in order to get to the final coordinates, where the cache is located, take the starting latitude (260) and subtract AA from it; then add 7. Then, take the final longitude (228) and subtract BB, CC, and DD from it; then add 4 and you have it!
