Delineator Traditional Cache

State Route 25 runs from east of Thomasville to the Georgia State line east of Centre. This series runs along the route between Greensboro and State Route 5 in Bibb County.
There is little traffic along this section of highway and quite a few places that have easy access on and off the road. It is perfect for a nice weekend drive.
The majority of the caches are placed in the Talladega National Forest and all caches are placed on public land.
Since we are placing these caches along a state highway we wanted to explain the meaning of some of the items you see along the way. This cache is placed near a pipe running underneath the highway. Pipes that are within a certain distance of the roadway, called clear zone in our industry, have Delineators placed at the opening of the pipe. This is intended to let the driver know that there is a possible hazard close to the roadway. When these routes were built, mostly in the 1920's through the 1940's, the thought was to just drain the water and place as little pipe as possible. Now we attempt to extend as many of these as possible beyond the clear zone, however, funding and Right-of-Way seriously affects accomplishing this daunting task.
The cache is a camoed pill bottle.
Congratualtions to Ohail and xptwo on the co-FTF honors!!!
