From about here train travellers would get an early view of the
township of Lawrence when arriving, disappearing behind them when
leaving.
At this point the line crossed the road. If you enter the
coordinates into Google Earth you can clearly see the course it
took, snaking its' way south east, then south, towards the junction
with the main line at Clarksville.
Another one of the many places where evidence of the Roxburgh
Branch Line "way" is very plain to see.
