Geocache Description:

You'll have to get just a little off the beaten path to find this cache. The cache is a small container in a popular park for fishing. There is convenient parking right near the trail that leads to this cache and you can begin your search there.

Once you reach the trail follow the blue arrows until you're near the cache location. If you pass a bird house or reach the creek you've gone to far. The cache is located within 75 feet of the trail and just a few feet up from a creek that runs nearby.

This cache was placed in accordance to the Jefferson City Parks and Recreation’s policy on geocaching. So that they know who's using their parks please include your hometown in your log. Thanks!

The title of this cache is a quote from one of our favorite movies, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. With that in mind I decided to start this cache off with some football items inside and include some of my favorite football quotes below.

"Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing." -- Green Bay Packers head coach, Vince Lombardi

"When your arm gets hit, the ball is not going to go where you want it to." -- Commentator, John Madden

Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach John McKay, after a game in which his team had performed poorly, in response to a reporter's question about his team's execution -- "I'm all in favour of it."

"As I matriculate my way down the field of life, I will never forget this moment and you wonderful people who helped make this day possible." -- Kansas City Chiefs head coach, Hank Stram

"Three things can happen when you pass the ball, and two of them are bad." -- Woody Hayes, Ohio State

"Nobody in football should be called a genius. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein." -- Joe Theismann, ESPN Announcer and Former NFL Quarterback

Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson, Former Dallas Cowboys Linebacker commenting on Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw’s intelligence -- “He couldn’t spell cat if you spotted him the C and the T.”
